Inpatient Clinical Pharmacy Services
The hospital provides a comprehensive range of services, including heart and vascular care, oncology, orthopedics, surgical, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, neonatal care, neurology, infectious disease, psychiatry, and more! Our inpatient pharmacists are vital members of the interdisciplinary team who promote medication safety and stewardship throughout the hospital.
Home Infusion Pharmacy Services
The home infusion pharmacy program coordinated through primary care providers offers an option for medications, therapies, and services to be delivered at home. Our specially trained team of clinical pharmacists, licensed pharmacy technicians, certified infusion nurses, and registered dieticians are dedicated to delivering professional care, comfortably and conveniently.
Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Services
Franciscan Physician Network partners with over 1,000 physicians and advanced practice providers at Franciscan Health outpatient clinics to provide high-quality primary care and specialty care services. Our clinical ambulatory care pharmacists work with providers under a collaborative practice agreement to offer chronic disease state medication management services in diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, heart failure, and more!
Outpatient Retail Pharmacy Services
With locations in 6 Franciscan Health facilities throughout Indiana and Illinois, our outpatient retail pharmacies offer prescription, over the counter medication, immunization, prescription bedside delivery, and medication therapy management services to Franciscan employees, patients, and the general public. Our skilled pharmacists are available to answer questions and increase access to care in the community.
Pharmacy Resolution Center Services
Our Pharmacy Resolution Center services leverage retail pharmacists to support direct patient care in the Franciscan Physican Network clinics increasing provider and patient satisfaction. Our pharmacists have rich retail and clinical pharmacy expertise to review, and sign passed protocol refill orders under provider cosign, write letters of medical necessity, and perform peer to peer reviews to assist in prior authorization completion while reviewing patient medications to ensure highest quality care.
